A spoon full of Sugar

This week the challenge on A Spoon Full of Sugar is Blue and Green. I have used this Sugar Nellie stamp "Daisy" Which is my first outing for her, but sure won't be the last. As usual she has been coloured using Polychromos and good old sansodor, of which I have nearly run out. The papers are all downloaded papers from Nitwit collections ( www.nitwitcollections.com/shop ). Boy do they have a great range of papers. Added a couple of corner swirls cut using my trusty cuttlebug and a couple of prima flowers held together with a blue brad.

Papertake spots and stripes

This week on Papertake weekly challenge blog , the theme is spots and Stripes, so in celebration of the glorious weather we have down south today, I have made Rosie at the seaside. The stamp is from Kadoodle range of stamps at The Craft Barn, she has been coloured using polychromos. The background stamp is a verly old PSX stamp, which has been coloured using distress inks. The spotted and striped paper are Hopscotch papers by K & CO, and the pale pink card is by apermania. The flowers and the centres are from the craft barn along with the sentiment which is by craftwork cards.

Colour create

Haven't left it so late for this weeks entry on Colour Create challenge Blog. Ok so the colours this week are Orange, Green and Brown, with the optional extra of making a card for a Man.

I have used another download this week from Charmed Cards and Crafts and this time it is from the Mikey collection. If you haven't looked at these download collections it really is worth going to see what they have.

The image has been coloured using polychromos in green brown and orange. The BP is all Basic Grey and just added a sentiment this time using my Dymo, which hasn't seen the light for a while and I did of course use the orange Dymo tape, which has been lightly sanded.

Colour Create

I have been thinking about the colour create challenge all week and have just got round to making my card for it. The colours this week are Black, white and Pink, and what a great colour combo this is. There is the option of adding polka dots as well which I have managed to do (quite a few times in fact).

The image is a digital download from Charmed cards and crafts and this one is called Madison with attitude, there are so many to chose from, but I decided this might be easier to use with the colours given. The image has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. The black and white paper is from Pink Petticoat, the polka dot pink paper is from my stash and the plain pink card is all from Papermania. The sentiment is also a papermania one as well. The flowers are all from my stash and they are held together with a pink polka dot brad.

Sketch saturday

Even I'm finding to hard to believe that I have posted twice in one day, you never know there may even be a third.

This card is for Sketch Saturday challenge blog, which has as always, got a great sketch this week. I have used Tilda sitting on top of an Alota cupcake (the magnolia one was sold out wherever I looked). Both have been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. The BP is basic grey and the green and pink card are from my stash but I am pretty sure that they are both papermania. The sentiment is also a papermania one.

the sugar bowl

Well I don't know where I have been for the past few weeks, but whilst doing a spot of blog hopping last night I found the sugar bowl blog, which is a challenge blog for Sugar Nellie stamps, so seeing that I love my Sugar Nellies I decided that I had to play along, but what a week to pick. The theme this week is MEN. Great, my favourite type of card to make.....not!!!!.

I have used sugar nellie SK8R boy stamp which I have coloured with polychromos and sansodor, the papers are all basic grey from the archaic pad, which I had bought with the intention of making mens/boys cards. I have added a gold star and a sentiment from craftwork cards which has been chalked to tone down the bright whiteness.

Dare u 2 - wings

This week on the Dare u 2 digi stamp blog, the theme is "Things with wings". For this weeks card I have decided to use this great image from Charmed cards and crafts. I have coloured the image with polychromos and sansodor. The papers are from papercrafts 4 u and the flowers are some new ones I bought a couple of weeks ago from a local craft shop. The corner die cut is a cuttlebug die. A very simple card today, but am still keeping an eye out for my mojo, It can't have gone far surely.

a spoon full of sugar

Today on A Spoon full of Sugar challenge blog, there is a great sketch by Caryn. I have managed to make a quick card before I head off to work. I have used a mixture of K & CO papers and papermania cardstock for this card. The flowers are again from Prima and papermania self adhesive gems in the centre. No sure what this Tilda is called but I think she looks so cute. She has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. Just added some sort of ribbon (can't for the life of me remember what it is really called) as i didn't have any swirls that would fit along the bottom of the card.

Dare U 2

Ok so today I have had a go at the Dare u 2 digi stamp challenge which this week has the colour combo of pink and Green, and of course a digital image. This week I have used Holly Hipster from Charmed cards and crafts. She has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. The papers are all from my stash but I think they are both All my memories papers. I have used my curved rectangels nestabilites yet again and this time I have embossed both layers. (love these). The flowers are a right mixture but at least they are pink and green and the pearl brad is from papermania.

Have decided that it is better to take pictures of cards rather than scan them, but I still need practice, and today I took the card for a walk in the garden to see if came out better than indoors, well it did, but not by much, so apologies for the quality.

Kadoodle card

Well don't know what has happened lately but that little ole Mojo has done a runner again. This was supposed to be based on this weeks sketch saturday sketch but couldn't quite fit the circle in, so had to leave it off. I have made this card for the Kadoodle stamps DT, whose stamps are available only from The Craft Barn. This is the clown by Sandra Dry (one very talented lady) and I have coloured him using polychromos and sansodor. The bright blue card is Bazzill bling. The paper with circles on is Basic Grey Oh Boy range, and the ribbon is from my stash. The sentiments are Craftwork cards which are also available from the Craft Barn.

Hopefully off to make another card now, which might meet the requirements of one of the many challenges that I love to do but haven't for this past week.

Two challenges, one card

Not something that I make a habit of doing, but not been crafting much due to one thing and another, but today I have managed to make one card to cover two challenges. The sketch is from this weeks Sketch Saturday blog and its a great sketch, I have rotated it this week, and the colour combo is from this weeks Colour create challenge blog, the combo being Chocolate, coffee and cream with an optional extra of distressing which I have to admit to completely forgetting about whilst making the card, at least it was optional.

I have used this great cat stamp from Stamp-it, coloured with polychromos and sansodor. The papers are a mixture of K & CO and papermania and the chocolate coloured card is from Stampin up. Just added some lace and small gems. The sentiment is a stamp from papermania.

I have used one of my two Whiff of Joy stamps, Princess Charlotte, she has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor. The light pink card is Bazill bling and the darker pink is from my stash. The paper is K & CO and the flowers are prima with papermania self adhesive gems in the centre.

Dare u 2

Another new challenge blog on the block this week and it is the great "Dare u 2 to digi stamp"
The only stipulation is that there must be a digi stamp image on your project, so for this weeks sketch challenge I have used Vicky by Sketching Stamper. The image has been coloured using polychromos and Sansodor, I have chalked the edge in a lime green. The paper is Basic Grey Oh Boy preston paper and the blue card is from my stash. The ribbon is really a vivid lime green but this hasn't shown up on the scan. The sentiment is a stamp from papermania and the flowers have been punched out.
Go on over to the challenge blog and have a look at the great DT Cards and have a go.

If Wishes

Just a quick card today, had been asked to make a get well card for a man that had something to do with fishing, luckily I had stamped this image up the other day - sugar nellie fishing Luca. The image has been coloured using polychromos and sansodor, the papers are Basic Grey archaic range, more than suitable for men. Decided not to add any more embellishments as I wasn't sure what to add. The sentiment is from stampin up
